Less Shoveling

Aren't we clever? While it was snowing buckets yesterday, Remko and I found a fun way to lessen our shoveling load: snowmen! We rolled up the snow we would have had to shovel in bottoms, middles, and tops right by our doorway.

Like our handiwork?

And here's what's left....Of course it kept snowing, so you can only see indents where there was black asphalt from our snowballs.

This is how hard it was snowing. As I stopped to take three photos, my sleeve was almost fully covered.

The snow is still there this morning, but the sun is out shining brightly. The five-inch icicle hanging on the drainpipe outside my window is furiously dripping and the branches don't have much snow left on them. Bets are still on if the snow will disappear in the five days we have left before we leave for MN. Bets are pretty certain that there will be snow on the ground there. :)

Holy smokes! You do have a lot of snow! It is pretty though.... And it is getting you ready for MN. See you soon!
