Yes There's a Museum for That

On Monday I went to the Hammer Museum in Haines, Alaska. Yep, the Hammer Museum. It's not named after the Hammer family and filled with works of art. It's three small rooms on the front of someone's house absolutely FULL of hammers.

There's not much in the way of things to do if you don't go on one of the beautiful hikes or floats or other outdoor adventures in Haines. People have talked about this place each time we've docked here and since it was my last time, I had to go. I never knew there were so many types of hammers and it was actually pretty cool. Made you think what you'd start collecting in the winter if you lived in Alaska and it was dark almost all day..... Check out some of my favorites.
