We went with a group of crew around dinner time, which is when the animals came out. We had a guide paddle us down the river, so we were in charge of spotting wildlife.

We were right next to an eagle preserve, so it was easy to spot more than 10 of them along the way. They even let us get really close.

The guide's daughter was along for the ride and she helped out by pointing out the tracks that we found. She's got her finger in the middle of a bear print. Would we see one, though?

We passed a small village on the left. My friend Chris was the only one looking to the right in search of bear. She managed to catch sight of a mama moose and her baby before they took off into the brush. I was able to click off a quick photo with the zoom, which is why it's a little fuzzy. We had a great view of them as they ran, but nothing close enough to take photos of.

The same goes for the mama bear and baby bear we saw. We wondered why the moose was taking off so fast because we were making some noise, but we weren't really that loud. As we rounded the bend, we saw the pair swimming in the water. They heard us and also went off into the woods. Also too far away for photographic evidence that I can post. If you want, I can show you the brown spot that's really small in the center of the photo and tell you that's a bear. It is, I swear. :)
